Here are just a few of the steps it took to make the
Farmhouse Style Washroom Sign
we put up in the guest bathroom after the remodel
Crawled through the old woodpile to find this beautiful old piece of junk, check out the moss we had to scrape off. I hated to do so; I almost turned this into an outdoor garden sign because the moss was so fantastic! A quick scrub down with a stiff bristle brush…..
I used the vinyl plotter to cut a stencil for this sign. It was not the ideal way to make a stencil but as we all know, The Queen is incredibly lazy so……………. Cut the stencil and pulled the letters out leaving a stencil to work with. Masked it, flipped it
and fought with it for way tooooooo long trying to get it to stay.
The board is so old and beat up the vinyl wouldn’t stick.
I knew that going in however I do love a challengeStenciled the letters using a stencil brush and acrylic wall paint.
It was a total arguement with the vinyl the whole time. Peal it off slowly and patiently, which I suck at. Make a show of throwing in the garbage, GOOD RIDDANCE! Grrrrr! And there you have it! A Farmhouse Style Washroom Sign, A professional masterpiece, minus the cursing and stomping of feet
